lyrics
Told ourselves all things would turn out fine
must stay on this spin
Stories told in future times can’t tell
no one believes this
We’re not seeing eye to eye
Re-examine moral famine. Re-envision our division
Side by side we silently abide
within without thought
On this ride the struggle won’t subside
looked down but not around
We’re not seeing eye to eye
Re-examine moral famine. Re-envision our division
We’re not seeing eye to eye
Re-examine moral famine. Re-envision our division
Told ourselves to just enjoy the ride
must trust the lack of plan
Hiding one side guides recorded time
not one for want of all
We’re not seeing eye to eye
Re-examine moral famine. Re-envision our division
We’re not seeing eye to eye
Re-examine moral famine. Re-envision our division

Quite an idiosyncratic album, let's tentatively call it progressive chamber folk. Good songs, well recorded and as bonuses we get (really good) instrumental versions of most songs and those who ask for it also get all of the above as 5.1 flac files, which offer a very nice, open soundstage!
Something else, really, and well worth your esteemed attention! Carsten Pieper
It’s a match made in heaven: Juliana Hatfield tackles the classic ELO catalog on a road that leads to power pop bliss. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 18, 2023
